{"id":9067,"date":"2021-02-10T08:34:33","date_gmt":"2021-02-10T07:34:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/relaunch.smartrace.de\/the-smartrace-manual\/analog-modus-verbindung-herstellen-und-zeiten-messen\/"},"modified":"2024-02-28T11:06:26","modified_gmt":"2024-02-28T10:06:26","slug":"connect-and-count-laps-in-analog-mode","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.smartrace.de\/en\/the-smartrace-manual\/connect-and-count-laps-in-analog-mode\/","title":{"rendered":"Connect and count laps"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Connecting and lap timing<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you&#8217;re done with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.smartrace.de\/en\/the-smartrace-manual\/preparations-for-the-analog-mode\/\">the preparations for the analog mode<\/a>, you can continue to establish the connection between SmartRace Connect and SmartRace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Start the SmartRace Connect server by opening the SmartRace Connect screen from the &#8220;Miscellaneous&#8221; section in the SmartRace main menu. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.smartrace.de\/en\/the-smartrace-manual\/smartrace-connect-start-server\/\">Read more<\/a> about how to start the server.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Connect the device which is running SmartRace Connect to the SmartRace Connect server. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.smartrace.de\/en\/the-smartrace-manual\/smartrace-connect-connect-a-device\/\">Read more<\/a> about how to do this.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once the connection has been established, tap the button &#8220;<strong>Sensor Mode<\/strong>&#8221; in the selection screen in SmartRace Connect.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Place hot spots and measure times<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you&#8217;ve started the sensor mode, your camera view will start, which might take some seconds. Now you can add &#8220;hot spots&#8221; by tapping the green button on the bottom of the screen in SmartRace Connect. All hot spots are numbered from 1-6. Every time a car passes through the camera view and hits a hot spot, the number of the hotspot will be transferred to SmartRace and SmartRace will count a lap for this car.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now you can add drivers and cars in SmartRace using the areas &#8220;Drivers&#8221; and &#8220;Cars&#8221; in the main menu and you can assign them to hot spot numbers using the &#8220;Assignment&#8221; area in the main menu.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Connecting and lap timing Once you&#8217;re done with the preparations for the analog mode, you can continue to establish the connection between SmartRace Connect and SmartRace.
