Bugfixes

  • DRS would sometimes also change the brake settings for cars which got DRS.
  • Mini Race Challenge: (Re)connecting is now more reliable and faster.
  • SmartRace Connect would not update the lap count accordingly when laps where added through check lane missed laps detection.
  • Overall best sector times coloring would sometimes not be correct.
  • The countdown sound would sometimes continue to play after a jump start.
  • Retiring cars with empty fuel tank should only happen in races (issue#19700).
  • Laptimes for damage calculation no longer include pit stop times (issue#19540).
  • The “standing start” option should only affect races, not qualifyings.
  • Disabling the lap time based fuel simulation for certain controllers would also disable the fuel bar if the CU fuel simulation was used.
  • DRS would not be re-enabled after rain stopped.
  • The qualifying finish sound would be played even if disabled.
  • Bookings (warnings) were not displayed correctly in side by side timetable style.
  • CSV downloads in the history module would sometimes not work correctly.
  • Sliders wouldn’t work correctly if global display size was below 100% (issue#19512).
  • Using the cable connection to the Control Unit on Android would sometimes cause SmartRace to crash.
  • Deleting championships would not correctly unlink history events.

SmartRace Connect 5.0

SmartRace is a software for Mac, tablets and smartphones and is used for timing Carrera Digital tracks in 1:32 and 1:24 scale and via the Analogue mode also for analogue tracks (e.g. Carrera Evolution, Carrera Exclusiv, Carrera Go!!!, Ninco, Scalextric or others). SmartRace either connects to the Carrera AppConnect adapter via Bluetooth or takes the measurement in analogue mode via the camera of a smartphone connected via SmartRace Connect
