The Carrera Race app has been discontinued – SmartRace is taking over
The official Carrera Race app is no longer being developed and is no longer available. SmartRace is the full-featured replacement: it uses the same Bluetooth connection via the AppConnect adapter, but offers significantly more features — from detailed statistics and championship modes to voice prompts and a car database.

Digital oder analog?

Doch die Zeitmessung funktioniert im eigens integrierten Analog-Modus auch mit analogen Systemen wie Carrera Evolution, Carrera Exclusiv oder sogar der ganzen alten Carrera Servo. Und das ganz ohne Änderungen an Deiner Bahn.

Use a track you already have, or get started with a new one! A Carrera Digital Starter Set in 1:32 or 1:24 scale is perfect for this.

If you want to use SmartRace with Carrera Digital, you’ll need the Carrera AppConnect Bluetooth adapter (which may already be included with your track).

Feature rich (just see the list), beautiful sounds and visuals, excellent GUI, and all this from a developer that started from zero and little support. I hope he’s making money. Well organized with steady updates, informs the community consistently on changes, fixes, addons. Folks, this is easily a $50 value if not more. Buy it. And now he adds analog timing detection (android for now, soon for iOS) just in case we have an analog track we’d like to race on…whaaaat? That’s fantastic! All I want to know is here can I pay more to support your incredible work? Edit: found how to give more, there’s a subscription option and I paid it. Worth every penny.
Must have! I started racing not to long ago and I love this app! I bought all the features/add ons and it is amazing! If you are thinking about getting into slot cars definitely spend the couple of bucks to get this app!
I like the layout of the app. I mean if your going to pay for something then it might as well look decent. I like all of the cool features and the inventory of cars and drivers and tracks to keep things organized. Very smooth driver displays and I’m sure there is many more wonderful features to come!

It’s a great addition to the carrera slot car set. This is the app the company should have put out. The developer responds and rectifies your concern with quick turnaround period. Cannot say enough good things about this app and the developer.
I wish it had the countdown voice like the Carrera app. I’m a brand new user and the app is asking me to rate it a little too soon. Give users more time to use the app before asking to rate it 🙂 EDIT: Change to 5 stars because the developer is totally on top of this app! EDIT: HUGE UPDATE TO APP! I submitted several ideas and all but 1 was implemented! This rating system needs more stars! Great Work!
