Can I combine my old Carrera tracks with my new track? Which tracks are compatible with each other anyway?
These or similar questions are asked by many who have owned a Carrera track in the past and now want to buy or have already bought a new track or new rails. Of course, a lot has happened over the years and new Carrera systems have emerged (e.g. Carrera Go, Carrera Digital 143 or Carrera First for the very young). Some track systems can actually be combined with each other, others do not fit together, if only because of the scale.
The rail scale is what matters – but not only
In addition to the scale of the rail, there are other criteria, e.g. the number of conductors built into the rail.
