Unable to connect SmartRace to Mini Race Challenge
Important: Starting from Android 6, location services (GPS) have to be enabled and SmartRace must be allowed to use them. Here is why.
Important: The bluetooth connection between your device and Mini Race Challenge must NOT be established manually! It will be established automatically once the app is started and Mini Race Challenge is powered on. If you have ever tried to establish the connection manually before, please remove Mini Race Challenge from the list of known devices. Afterwards, please restart both Mini Race Challenge and SmartRace.
If SmartRace cannot connect to Mini Race Challenge, please check the following:
- Does your smartphone or tablet support at least Bluetooth 4.0?
- Is Bluetooth turned on on the device and is the device visible to other devices?
- Is SmartRace permitted to use Bluetooth? (Settings > Apps > Permissions)
- Is there a device nearby that may be running another app that has established a connection to Mini Race Challenge? This would block the connection and prevent SmartRace from connecting to MRC. Please close any such apps on other devices and try again.
