Preparations for analog mode

You need three things to be able to use the analog mode of SmartRace:

  1. A device on which you install the SmartRace app (download here), ideally a tablet. This device will display the lap times and everything else.
  2. A device on which you install the free SmartRace Connect app (download here), ideally a smartphone. This device is placed on the track and records the passing vehicles with the camera.
  3. To establish the connection between the two devices, you need the paid add-on SmartRace Connect Server, which you can purchase as an in-app purchase in SmartRace. To do this, you must open the “Add-ons” section in the SmartRace main menu.

When you are ready, go to the chapter Connecting and Lap Counting.

There is a video on Youtube showing the configuration of the analog mode and how it works.
