Speed and brake settings change automatically when crossing the start/finish line

Since version 7, SmartRace transmits the current speed and brake settings of a car to the control unit as soon as the car crosses the start/finish sensor for the first time. This is to make sure that valid tuning settings set are used instead of settings that were made e.g. because of a virtual safety car or a rain race.

To ensure that SmartRace transmits the correct values, please note the following:

• All tuning settings should be made exclusively via SmartRace, not via the control unit. If speed and brake settings are made via the control unit, SmartRace will not receive any information about this and will therefore not be able to save the values for later retrieval.
• Each used controller used should have a car assigned to it.
• The desired tuning settings should be made in SmartRace for the assigned car. You can check which tuning settings are currently active by calling up the respective car in the car database.
