Preparations for the analog mode

To use the SmartRace Analog Mode, you need three things:

  1. A device which runs the charged app SmartRace (download here) ideally used on a tablet device; this device will display laps and lap times and everything else.
  2. A device which runs the free app SmartRace Connect (download here), ideally used on a smartphone device; this device will be placed next to your track and provide the camera view.
  3. The charged add-on SmartRace Connect Server, which will be used to establish a connection between device 1 and device 2. You can purchase this add-on as in-app purchase in SmartRace in the “Add Ons” area in the main menu.

If you’re ready with the preparations, learn how to establish the connection and start counting laps.

There is also a video available which shows how the analog mode works.
