SmartRace cannot be purchased despite compatible target device (Android) – the device is displayed as “not compatible” in the Play Store
If your device meets all the requirements to run SmartRace, but still shows up in the Google Play Store as “not compatible” with SmartRace, so that the app cannot be purchased, it may help to clear the cache of the Google Play app or reset it.
You can clear the cache of the Google Play app this way:
- Go to the settings of your device.
- Go to “Apps” or “Application Manager” > “All”.
- Select “Google Play Store”.
- Tap on “Delete data”.
- Then try to go to the Play Store entry of SmartRace again and see if you can install the app now.
If that doesn’t help, you can also reset the Google Play app:
- Go to the settings of your device.
- Select “Apps & Notifications”.
- Select “Google Play Store” or “All Apps” or “App Info”.
- Tap the three-dash menu at the top and then tap “Uninstall updates”.
After this process is complete, please try installing SmartRace again. Since all Android devices are slightly different, the process may be slightly different on your device. For more information, please refer to your device manufacturer’s manual or help center.
