SmartRace Connect Server cannot be started (macOS)

Under some macOS versions (especially High Sierra), the SmartRace Connect Server cannot be started on some Macs when the Mac is on a WLAN. No QR code and no IP address appears when pressing the Start Server button.

In this case, the only known solution is to connect the Mac to the router via Ethernet/LAN cable and use this connection instead of WLAN.
