Pit stop continues even after leaving the pit lane
The control unit recognizes that a car is in “refueling possible” mode by passing over the sensor built in to the pit stop adapter unit (PSAU). If the throttle lever on the controller is now pressed more than halfway, this mode is automatically exited again. The result is that drivers can theoretically drive around the course refueling if they never apply more than 50% throttle. So to actively prevent the pit stop from continuing, the throttle should be briefly pushed as far as possible once.
